Description: This oil is a mild to medium intensity single estate oil with a fresh fruity aroma, mild bitterness and a peppery finish. From the seaside town of Kyparissia in Messenia, Greece, it features the rich flavor, vivid color and low acidity (less than 0.3%) associated with the Koroneiki olive. Cold extracted from hand-picked olives and unfiltered, it is best enjoyed pure.
Because this oil is unfiltered, it may appear slightly cloudy or there may be some sediment at the bottom of the bottle. This is due to the small bits of olive pulp present in the oil, which only serve to enhance its flavor and aroma.
Suggested Uses: Drizzled over salads, vegetables, and fish – or used as a key ingredient in dressings, dips and marinades. Or try our favorite: used for dipping with fresh crusty bread, with a dash of sea salt, oregano or balsamic vinegar.
