Recipe: Tomato Avocado Crostini with Hiwa Kai

Avocado Crostini with Hiwa Kai by New Canaan Olive Oil

Ingredients:

2 large ripe Hass avocados

1 large tomato, halved and sliced

Juice of 1 lime

Hiwa Kai (Black Hawaiian sea salt)

Toasted baguette slices or you can purchase some pre-made crostini toasts

 

Directions:

Cut the avocado in half, remove the pit. Carefully slice the avocado into sections lengthwise, then scoop it out of the shell. Generously coat the avocado slices with the lime juice. Place a slice of the tomato on the toasts, topped with 1 or two slices of avocado. Finish with a pinch of the Hiwa Kai sea salt.
