Macerating fruit means drawing the liquid out of it with sugar until they become syrupy. Our Macerated Balsamic Raspberries are sweet and tart, and wonderful on cakes, ice cream or topped with whipped cream.
Ingredients:
- 2 cups raspberries, cleaned and dried
- 1 tbsp. sugar
- 2 tbsp. NCOO's Raspberry Balsamic
Directions:
Combine all ingredients in a bowl and allow to sit refrigerated until the desired syrupy consistency is reached. Raspberries will continue to break down, so depending on the texture you desire, you may want to increase or decrease the macerating time.
This recipe can be adjusted to other fruit. Try it with strawberries and our Strawberry Balsamic or with blueberries and our Blueberry Balsamic.
