Chimichurri Recipe

Chimichurri Reicpe by New Canaan Olive Oil


1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil (we love our Spanish Picual or Santiago Blend for this recipe)

1 tsp minced garlic

1/3 cup minced shallot

1/3 cup minced parsley

1 tsp fresh basil, chopped

1 tsp fresh thyme, chopped

1 tsp fresh oregano, chopped

sea salt and pepper to taste

Hint: be sure to use fresh herbs with this recipe, it really make the flavors stand out



Stir all of the ingredients together and allow to stand at room temperature for about 2 hours before using. Save any remaining chimichurri in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
