Brining your turkey will make it flavorful, moist and delicious! And its super easy (even easier when you use our Poultry Seasoning)!
You will need:
- 18-24 lb Turkey (defrosted)
- 12 cups of water
- 4 cups ice
- 1/2 cup vinegar (try our Pear Champagne)
- 1 bag of Poultry Seasoning
- Rosemary Olive Oil
Bring 4 cups of water to a boil. Add the entire contents of the bag of seasoning. Remove from heat and stir. Add remaining 8 cups of water and 4 cups of ice, stir in vinegar until cooled. Remove giblets, then using a large pot or brine bag, submerge turkey in the mixture. Allow to marinate overnight or 24 hours if possible. Before cooking, remove the turkey, pat it dry and brush the skin with Rosemary olive oil before putting in the oven.
