Cinnamon Apple Pie Recipe by New Canaan Olive Oil
- 6 cups of thinly sliced, peeled apples
- One 8 oz tin of Cinnamon Organic Cane Sugar
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 recipe for Pie Crust with Olive Oil
Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F. Arrange apples in layers in the pie plate lined with the pie crust. Sprinkle each layer with the Cinnamon sugar. Dot top layer with small pieces of butter. Cover with top crust, poke a few holes in the top crust.
Bake for 10 minutes, then reduce oven temperature to 350 degrees F and bake for 35 more minutes. Can be served warm Olive Oil Ice Cream or cold!
